2008! The year of the Rat
It's 2008 and if you're wondering what year will 2008 be? It’s the Year of the Rat and it is dedicated to all things rat... be it rat race, rat cheese, and ratatouille! whoa! Love that movie but did I spell it right? hehe They say rats are compatible with Dragons, Monkeys and Oxen, but should avoid Horses at all costs. They are clever, ambitious, creative, hard-working, fastidious, charming and sociable, but can be a bit stingy when it comes to sharing their wealth or possession. Hmm.. that is so right! lol The year of the RAT promises money and good fortune.
From what I read, “A Rat Year is a time of hard work, activity, and renewal. This is a good year to begin a new job, get married, launch a product or make a fresh start. Ventures begun now may not yield fast returns, but opportunities will come for people who are well prepared and resourceful. The best way for you to succeed is to be patient, let things develop slowly, and make the most of every opening you can find.” Luckiest are those born in the year of the Dragon, wherein they can expect promotions from their job and also to those who were born in the year of the Snake, lucky for those who have their own business, or plans to start one. Goat and MOnkey will also be lucky this year but watch out for thieves. Rabbits are also lucky in terms of money!
Those born in the year of the Ox and Tiger can expect a very warm lovelife. For those married, there's a lot of temptations on the way. beware!
And of course, those born in the Year of the Rat are lucky when it comes to money. After all, it's their year huh? Unexpected winnings and surprises awaits those born in the year of the Rat. If you’re one of them, better buy those lottery tickets! Now, let's talk about the unlucky and not-so-lucky ones! OMG! I think that includes me. Those born in the year of the Pig and Dog should always be health-conscious and avoid food and activities that may affect their health.
For those born in the year of the Rooster (now this one includes me), avoid having confrontations as you may be involved in fights. yikes! cockfights!
And the winner is.. for the unLuckiest this year of the Rat is none other than..
The Horse! For those born in the year of the Horse, this may be your unlucky year. Horse-people are prone to accidents so be always vigilant. Oh well, if you do believe in feng shui or chinese zodiac, I think there's no harm in believing and it will be a great year for people specially born in 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996 and 2008. So yeah, my baby is going to born in the year of the rat too! woooot! woooot! I was born in the year of rooster but i sure hope that the year of the rat will be a good year for me too.
